Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

Longing for Peaceful Parenting?

Every parent I know longs for peaceful parenting. An end to the struggles, the attitudes, the disobedience. We just want to have peace in our homes and parenting to peaceful. Yet, the reality is that we don’t have peaceful beginnings most of the time. So, instead of peaceful parenting, we end up with frustration.

How do we get to the place where we have peace in our parenting? How do we begin again and try (with God’s help) to do this thing called parenting right, so we can have peace in our homes.

I’m excited to be starting a series on Peaceful Parenting over at Women of Worship this week. I hope you’ll join me over there and follow along as we begin anew on a journey towards peaceful parenting.
