It’s All About Relationships: New Family Series

After regaining my ministry focus for my blogs, I have a lot more time on my hands. Time that I realize I must be faithful in using and I must ensure that I’m not wasting it.

Over the last year and a half, I’m realizing that I’ve lost a lot of time with those I love most. My family. My kids have grown up, which I’m loving as they are able to do more, but there are some areas that I can see where my absence greatly hurt them. My husband…I miss him.

So, my new family series here is going to be about relationships. We will work on building our relationships up, doing new things together, spending quality time with our loved ones and more!

We will be taking on the many different relationships we have in our lives; husbands, kids, friends, his family, her family, friends, church family, co-workers, etc.

I’m also planning to share some challenges that I will have used myself to encourage you to be intentional with the time you have with your loved ones.

What relationships do you need to focus on this year?

What types of things would you like to do to grow your relationship?

  1. Definitely need to focus on growing my marriage, and time with my children AS individuals. There are five and we usually all do things in a big group. I think having a day per child would work where we do an activity together, or even fit in some one on one conversation time. (like Susannah Wesley did with hers!).
I’m looking forward to hearing more from your series!

    1. Yes, having a day one on one time with each family member would be best, but sometimes we just can’t squeeze that in. One way I try to get a bit of time just us is by alternating which kid I take grocery shopping, even if I want alone time I find that is one way I can spend time with each of them. Blessings Rach!
