25 Christmas Activities for Kids

Before we know it Christmas will be here! As year round homeschoolers, we take the entire month of December off from school and enjoy staying busy with lots of fun activities that we normally don’t have time to do.

I’m thrilled to share 25 of our favorite Christmas activities for kids, please don’t feel like you HAVE to do all 25 of these activities. We don’t do all of them every year, rather these are our favorite Christmas activities for kids that we’ve done over the course of several years. I hope that you and your family have fun creating wonderful memories throughout the upcoming Christmas season! It truly is a inspiring and magical time of year to spend time with our families remembering the true reason for the season!

  • Celebrate Advent
  • Cut down (or pick up) Your Christmas Tree
  • Make paper snowflakes (see page 39)
  • Make ornaments
  • Make Christmas decorations (see pages 38-39)
  • Send Christmas cards (you can buy them, but kids love to make them!)
