Christmas is supposed to be a time filled with peace, but all too often that slips away in the midst of shopping, wrapping, baking and planning. Yet, that is why Christmas has become what it shouldn’t be, about us. Christmas should be the most peaceful, giving time of the year and instead it’s become another time to focus on ourselves.
Over the years I’ve seen this even come out in my own family and I’ve taken some steps to realign our focus on what the TRUE meaning and celebration of Christmas should be.
