Without my faith I would be no one, with nowhere to go, and nothing to live for. This thought alone encourages me to stop and be thankful that I am a Princess of THE King, with a plan and a purpose designed specifically for me.
My faith is what drives me to become better than I was yesterday, to strive for the mark placed before me today, and to dream for all of the tomorrows that God alone knows if I’ll ever see.
Utilizing my faith requires that I be willing to do some things. Without choosing to do these things, the actions I do in my life will be just that. Actions.
I must be willing to open the eyes God has given me to see.
I must choose to use my ears and listen to Him when He is speaking to me.
I must allow my hands to be opened to do all God asks of me.
Yet, I have skipped over the most important part. If you miss this step in life, you’ll have missed the amazing things God desires to show you, do through you, in you and for those around you.
I must desire to have God open my heart. Opening it to all things that He wants to do in and through me. Opening my heart to all those He longs for me to touch throughout my life.
This series God laid on my heart as He directed my mission here at Beautiful Ashes. I knew that it was to be the first Faith series I wrote here.
Over the next 5 weeks we will focus on allowing God to “open” different parts of ourselves to complete His will in our lives.
I ask that you pray for myself and you as we prepare for this series. That God would be able to complete a work in us that we can’t even imagine.
