Throughout life we all have choices to make, opportunities to grasp or miss, difficult situations to live through, heartbreaks to experience, etc. In all of these things we have become who we are today. If our choices had been varied or our life experiences changed, we would be different people right now.

In my life, I have made a lot of bad choices and decisions, and I continue to deal with the consequences of some of them today. It is from my life that this series was “born”.

I believe that in order for us to see a change in this world, that we MUST be willing to be real, to share our lives with others, both the good and the bad. I know that being real will touch people’s hearts, and we will have more opportunity to share Christ with them. Fake “christians” have very little chance to connect with a divorced mother, a suicidal teenager, or a drunken man. We must be willing to meet them right where they’re at, even if it means opening up to them causes us a little pain. 

Throughout this series I will share parts of my life story, topics that I am passionate about due to happenings throughout my life, and anything God inspires me to write about along the way.

It is my goal in this series to be real in all that I write. Not hiding behind a mask, or a prettily organized group of words; all designed to make me “look” or sound better than I am. No, that is not what this life series will be like.

I am a sinner, forgiven and saved by grace alone. Without Christ I am nothing, but with Him I am the Princess of THE King!

It is my heart’s desire that the words that I write here will touch someone’s heart each day, meeting them right where they are at and begin to change their lives.
