Looking around the world today there are so many people who need to be loved…there are even songs about the world needing love. Yet, the world looks for love in all the wrong places…In someone’s arms, their words, actions, etc. Truly being loved is so much more than this.

Loved By Your Creator

God loves us so much more than we truly can fathom, it goes deeper and farther than any man can truly know. Nothing can separate us from His love, no matter where we go, what we do or say, His love is here to stay.

These are my favorite verses and I’m so very thankful that they are included in the Bible because with my past, it would be easy to feel like I could be separated from God’s love if it were not for these verses. I especially cling to these verses when I’m struggling regrets.

Romans 8:35-39 states, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 

Sacrificial Love for You

We always wonder just how much someone loves us, often thinking what would they be willing to do for us. There is no one who can love us as deeply as God, and He showed us how much He loved us many years ago… His love for us brought Him to sacrifice His Son Jesus’ life on the cross of Calvary, for you and me. This is the ultimate picture of sacrificial love.

Jesus’ death on the cross brought salvation to everyone who will believe and it is because of God’s love for you and me that eternal life in heaven is possible. Without God’s love we would be nowhere…with nothing to live for.

John 3:16-17 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Don’t waste your time looking for love in all the wrong places, the love that we all need and are seeking is real and available to all. We just need to go to God’s word to be reminded that in Him alone will we find the love that will fill us because He made us to need His love. God’s love is real and it’s for you.

Remember you are adopted, beloved, complete, His daughter, enough, forgiven, gifted, held, justified, kept and loved.
